I've read through the book, and prepared myself to go through the process as he has described it. It doesn't look too hard . . . nor does it look too easy. Does that make it just right?
Regardless, the health advice that he gives is VERY similar to the things my doctor told me. (I'd love to see what my doctor would think about the book.) The biggest difference being that Mr. Kardashian's book suggests a partial fast/partial cleanse for a week. And I will be embarking on that tomorrow.
The book works well with many different styles of working out and eating, and much of the book is devoted to changing or rearranging our body image and self-image to bring it in line with God's image of our body and self. This makes it a very unique book. The book also includes a work out DVD, which I will be using as well. In fact, in shopping tonight for the fruits I will be consuming this week (during the fast/cleanse), I bought a tension tube as well. Right now, I am walking/running for about 30 minutes, four or five times a week. I plan to integrate Ron's workout into that rotation, although I'm not sure how. If I will run four days and do the workout three. (That's seven days, no breaks -- is that unhealthy? Or is doing it that way actually MAKING breaks -- it's not seven days of the same thing everyday? Or is it even something to worry about? Not sure how to go about getting answers for these questions, because I was seeing my doctor when I had insurance. We don't have any right now.)
So there is much I am still figuring out. However, I'm excited. I did a partial workout tonight, just to see what the DVD was like.
